About Me

Hi, I am Ali!

I am a graduate student in Mechatronics & Robotics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), after my BSc in Mechanical Engineering at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul.

I am interested in dexterous manipulation, reinforcement learning, and generative models. I have worked with various robots, including the iiwa, Franka, UR10, drones, and Super Megabot.

During my leisure moments, I enjoy participating in a wide range of sports, including football, calisthenics, and bouldering. From the earliest stages of self-discovery, I have been drawn to making melodies and writing songs. I currently have a band "Eser Miktarda" where I contribute as the guitarist and lead vocalist. I was also a tenor in Bogazici University Jazz Choir for 3 years. Furthermore, I enjoy creating realistic drawings using charcoal.
